Entry-level Programs are offered to allow individuals, who are interested in the technical aspect of the automotive field, to be trained as a C-Technician. These skills will make a technician employable after 12 8 hour classes. A continuation of this program allows the technician to progress to the level of B-Technician, and eventually have the working knowledge of an A-Technician. This program, which instills a strong foundation of automotive knowledge coupled with work experience, will allow the technician to fulfill the requirements of the service facility.

If you are a technician already in the field, and you would like to expand your knowledge of the more advanced levels of automotive systems, we have a program for you. We have courses to review the basic knowledge and theory, as well as classes that allow you to advance to the latest cutting-edge technology of diagnosing computer controlled automotive systems. The computer has been sweeping across the automotive industry for 2 decades now, and there appears to be no end in sight. Stricter federal regulations on emissions and safety have made diagnosing cars more challenging, and guessing more expensive. You must be willing to continue your education just to keep up with the changes and the new systems that show up every year. We can then place you in the appropriate class, which will pick up where you left off.

For the advanced technician we offer courses with manufacturer specific information. Look at the extensive coverage of manufacturers and systems that have individual classes. In these individual classes system-operating strategies are covered as well as actual signal readings from known functioning systems. This information can prove invaluable in diagnosing new and complicated systems, as well as what to look for while diagnosing intermittent and inconsistent problems. Automotive testing research & development and on-site training is the cornerstone of the philosophy of Jonsson Automotive. We find quick and efficient ways to perform complete diagnosis and repair of complicated automotive systems and we provide customized training at your shop showing you how to more effectively use your own equipment. That's right,…customized training! You look through the courses I offer and pick only the ones you want to take. I then come to your site and teach however many technicians there are. Since I bill per student you only have to pay for the students that I train. I also educate the technicians on the equipment available to them. I can also advise you on how to best allocate funds for your diagnostic tool budget.

Here is the procedure for getting started. First, pick the classes you want to take, put them on your estimate invoice and submit your invoice to Jonsson Automotive. There will be a single surcharge on all estimate invoices given providing the dates the classes are given are run concurrently. This surcharge is to cover expenses while traveling to your location and any accommodations while performing the training. The surcharge is not refundable within 30 days of the agreed class dates. The surcharge is based on your location. This surcharge may be shared by more that one facility if the training classes are administered concurrently. Then put in all your information, such as address and phone number and tentative dates you would like to hold the training. I will call back in one to two days to discuss and confirm these dates and how you would like the classes to be administered. The surcharge will be due at that time to secure the agreed dates, and the balance is due on the dates agreed before the classes are administered.

A terms and conditions sheet will be emailed to you. You print the sheet and mail/e-mail it in with your surcharge deposit. A CD copy of the specifications from the class content will be delivered upon completion and payment of those classes for your reference.
